Went into Vinnies store at Callala Bay this morning to see what little treasures I can find. I asked the lady there if I could sit my treasures on the counter whilst I continued to look. When I was finished & ready to pay I realised that the marionette puppet that I found for sale for $2 was gone. The guy who served me argued with me that there was no marionette. When the lady came out from behind the back of the shop I said to her "did you see the marionette that I had ready to buy". She replied "yes". I said "did you take it?". Once again she said"yes". I said to her "are you trying to tell me it's not for sale?" Again she said "yes". I replied "but it was in the shop & had a $2 price tag on it". In which the lady just shrugged her shoulders. I was furious that she had gone through the stuff that I had picked out & decided to keep the marionette for herself. I am so cranky with this Vinnies store & would recommend for people not to shop there. That is just wrong what that woman did & they are all just so rude & arrogant. They are only there to help themselves & no one else. Vinnies should be ashamed.
